This policy explains what personal information Spiritly (spiritly.co.nz) collects and how we use it, in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. Last updated: 10 October 2026.
What we collect
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site: pages visited, time on page, the device and browser used, approximate location (city level) and how you arrived. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this.
- If you email us, we keep your email address and message so we can reply.
- If you subscribe to a newsletter (when we offer one), we keep your email address to send it. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Server logs. Our host keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser) for security and to keep the site running.
We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them for analytics and to keep the site working properly. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the site: Hostinger (hosting and email) and Google (analytics). Some of them store data outside New Zealand, including in the United States. We only use providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to New Zealand law.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, then delete it. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email hello@spiritly.co.nz. If you’re not happy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
